Our latest addition to the Ruby Digital team, Samantha, put together her thoughts on SEO outreach and what she has learnt over the past couple weeks.

Outreach is important for a business as it brings more traffic to the businesses website, generates more sales for the product or service being sold, gives sustainable results and improves the brand’s credibility. Outreach is centred around research and communication, these aspects combined allow a business to be digitally marketed with the sole aim of becoming known, popular and earn a profit.

The goal of outreaching is to build a relationship with a blogger and website to place a backlink that is placed within the content given to be posted onto the bloggers’ page and/or the website. Guest blogging gives a business a targeted exposure, qualified traffic, builds credibility, creates a networking channel, is an effective linking tool, opens large social networks & mailing lists, new business opportunities occur and there’s a chance of more guest post offers.

SEO fulfils this role on behalf of the business by:
• Written content is placed/posted on influencers media pages, blogger pages and websites with the goal of gaining a backlink to the client’s business website
• Analyse, review and make necessary changes to the businesses website to be optimized for search engines
• Gains insight through analytics into – how the customer searches, browse, what language is used, the technology used, a location such as a region, most active days and times of the day the most active. This data is tremendously valuable to create strategies best suited to the client
• Work towards the business’s website to appear on the top of the search engines e.g. Google

The reason why businesses need to interact with bloggers is as it allows your business to establish an audience, gain more followers on social media, connect to influencers in your niche, build your email list and gain backlinks. The aim is to build a relationship with the blogger, influencer and/or website owner to receive offers to guest post frequently.

Without interacting with bloggers, a business is left with only its own website to market social media marketing. This, unfortunately, does not have the ability to reach as far as outreaching would.
Outreaching is unlimited to guest posts, promos, advertisements, backlinks and reaching all relating and surrounding areas of the niche.

Influencers, bloggers and writers help businesses and their SEO’s by creating awareness via a guest post, promos, advertising that will contain a link/mention taking a reader to the website of the business being aided by SEO Outreach. With the aid of influencer’s, bloggers and writers the digital marketing of a business become worldwide, with the potential to reach all possible consumers by giving them the chance to read/see content and click on the corresponding link.

I’ve learnt through doing outreach that marketing when done digitally is unstoppable, ever growing, ever changing and no one is unreachable. With a laser focus on strong content and reaching out with a personal touch, responses and results will be of the highest quality with a higher success rate.

Outreach and SEO are the way forward as the most successful digital marketing tool.
