About the role

  • Ruby Digital is currently seeking a Success Consultant to join our esteemed team. While this is an entry-level position, we do have high expectations for the successful candidate. It is important to note, however, that we understand that not all requirements mentioned in the job description may be met by the candidate. Rest assured, we will provide comprehensive support and training to enable the junior consultant to grow and develop in the role, ultimately propelling their career forward as a Success Consultant.

  • You will work on a diverse range of clients, delivering measurable return on investment and organic growth.
    You will be responsible for managing various projects, including client liaison, building relationships with clients on a client service level, campaign development, and management.
  • You will work alongside SEO consultants, developers, social media managers, content writers and Google Ad experts to optimise the online presence of these clients.

Responsibilities

  • Liaise with both local and international clients on a regular basis
  • Lead monthly progress meetings with clients
  • As the clients’ dependable consultant in online marketing, develop and maintain meaningful relationships with clients on behalf of the agency.
  • Ensure a solid understanding of the client’s environment, business goals, and best practices to recommend ideal solutions for desired business outcomes
  • Coordinate and manage various digital marketing services for your clients
  • Work with the Performance team to ascertain timelines and ensure tasks are planned, scheduled, and diarised so that internal deadlines are met
  • Ensure a smooth and timeous workflow of activities directed at your clients
  • Facilitate value offerings and prepare quotations for relevant opportunities to existing clients
  • Monitor campaign success on Google Analytics and keyword rank trackers
  • Actively test and analyse targeting criteria (keywords and audiences), ad creatives, landing pages, and bid strategies to drive results in line with campaign goals
  • Work under pressure and be fully adaptable to the ever-changing world of digital marketing
  • Follow industry trends, drive innovation, and contribute to case studies, blog articles, and training, as well as define, monitor, and analyse trends
  • Contribute to projects, process changes, and roll-outs of the company

Attributes & Requirements

  • You are passionate about brands and helping companies grow
  • You have an interest in Digital Marketing, specifically SEO and Google Ads
  • You are a fast learner with a great work ethic
  • You have effective time management, project management, and organisational skills
  • You have strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • You have a positive attitude and a growth mindset
  • You have a tertiary education
  • Computer literacy (Microsoft Word/Google Docs and Excel/Google Sheets)
  • Experience in an agency environment (minimum 1 year)
  • Your own laptop/desktop computer that meets the minimum specifications as defined by the Employment Contract
  • A strong and reliable internet connection (essentially)
  • Ability and passion to educate and share industry knowledge with less experienced team members
  • Demonstrate resourcefulness and the initiative to lead advanced projects
  • Comfortable with various CMS platforms and the ability to troubleshoot and solve various issues common with these systems
  • Experience with tools like Semrush, Screaming Frog, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Data Studio and Google Tag Manager is advantageous, but is not required

Education

  • Tertiary education and minimum 1 year experience in an agency environment .
